About a month ago, Ruth and I got news that the pilot for out digital series "Geeky Pheebs: Get's Schooled" was a semifinalist for the Austin Film Fest's inaugural Digital Series competition. We were very excited to get even more traction for this passion project.

So in a few short weeks, we'll be headed down to Austin, TX to see if we can drum up some interest in the series with this newly acquired heat. We're thrilled to be included in their official Producer's Book and have while their we'll be doing some promotion with these fun stickers:
Send us good vibes and we'll keep you updated!

In November of 2014, Ruth and I discussed starting a blog for the character of Phoebe. By mid-December, we had it up and running. Now, in early February, we are nearly two months in and couldn't be more pleased with it's success.

The posts are driving traffic to the site and we are getting a really great response from many of our followers. The Google analytics on our site help us to track traffic sources and is a great tool to see how people are getting to and use our site.

The blog is written by Ruth and I and we take turns every other week writing the posts. We also have enhanced our blog by becoming an Amazon Affiliate in an attempt to help raise funds for the project.

Also, we have added the short film "An Ideal Man" to the site for anyone around the world to watch for free.

There are more changes and updates in store for 2015 so make sure you check in often.

This weekend our short film "An Ideal Man" will be screening at Gen Con during their annual film festival.

Due to the strength of our promo, we got word last week that the film will also screen in the main room.

We owe a huge thank you to the lovey and talented Cindi Rice for the extra booking. Not to mention believing in the film and the greater Geeky Pheebs project.

We hope for a successful convention and good luck to our fellow filmmakers including our good friend Elliot Diviney who will be screening his feature Potpourri.

Explore new aspects of the site. We have some new sections to reflect the exciting new updates to the Geeky Pheebs project. New sections include The Ph.D.'s companion and info about our festival run for An Ideal Man.

We are happy to announce that "An Ideal Man" has been programed at Gen Con Indy 2014's film festival.

It will run in the shorts program.

Thanks to Gen Con!

We are excited to share the screen with our filmmaker friend Elliot Diviney who will screen his feature film "Potpourri" in the feature program.

At the end of April we submitted "Geeky Pheebs: An Ideal Man" to its first film festival. We used Without a Box a service through IMDB. We submitted to GenCon in the 'Shorts' category.

We thought GenCon would be a good place to start as it is the largest general gaming convention in country seeing over 40,000 people each year.

It would be a grand place for our film to make its world premier and hopefully expose us to a large new audience that may be interested in the entire transmedia tale.

We completed the 'tweeted tale.' You can read the story under The Wrath of Con. We will write up later this week what we learned and what went well with our story experiment later this week.

We are about to launch our interactive story experiment called Geeky Pheebs: The Wrath of Con. We have no idea if this is gonna work. See you all when it is done.
